Winter Hair Blues!


Is your skin feeling itchy, does your hair feel dry, do you feel like you want to jump into a pile of oil? Well, this is the time to take care of yourself. This weather changes your skin and especially your hair. Who wants to walk around with dry damaged looking hair? I don't and I'm sure you don't as well. There is nothing worse then looking like you put a finger in a light socket and your hair is limp as a noodle and frazzled on the ends.

Well, say GOODBYE to those Winter Hair Blues! It's time for some Deep Conditioning Treatments and Hair Masks. In the winter months it's always wise to bump up the moisture hair regimen because the air is more dry. How often should you be getting treatments depends on how many times you wash your hair. If you wash once or twice a week then you need to do a hair mask each time and especially if your hair is long and thick, otherwise 2 to 3 times a week using a deep conditioner if you wash regularly.

Making in-salon treatments a habit during your hair visits is important to jump start by addressing any hair issues. If your hair is brittle and damaged you need strengthening and repair treatments to revitalize your hair. If you have color treated hair, you might consider a treatment that helps with shine and smoothing the hair. If you have normal to thick hair and experiencing dryness, you want to consider ultra nourishing treatments.
